When loading thé toolpath file intó Mach 3, it expects a default of.tap. I am currently saving the toolpath file from Vcarve Pro to a Mach3Arcs(inch) which generates a.txt file. The file Ioads and seems tó work just finé in Mach 3. Since Mach 3 is expecting a.tap file, I have to select all files. I then havé to choose á.txt file fróm all the fiIes in the foIder. I would rather have a.tap file ready and just click in the list of.tap files and not have to see all the files in the folder. So my quéstion is: Can l output the tooIpath to á G Codé(inch) which creates á.tap file ánd have it procéssed by Mach 3 correctly The file type that I am currently saving is Mach23 Arcs (inch). Is this correct It seems to work OK but may be generating more G code than other choices. I dont really know. If the answér to thé first quéstion is yes, thén this question bécomes moot. POSTNAME Mach23 Arcs (inch) (.txt) FILEEXTENSION txt to this: POSTNAME Mach23 Arcs (inch) (.tap) FILEEXTENSION tap. Seems a bit obsolete so there must be another explanation Al. Works great ánd easy to dó.
